In 1986, Sturgis E. Chadwick and James G. Lakerdas founded Chadwick & Lakerdas with the goal of protecting the rights of injured people and have been successfully doing so ever since. With that goal in mind, our initial and predominant focus was personal injury but as the firm grew and developed, we branched out into areas of medical malpractice, criminal defense, and civil rights (police brutality and excessive force).

All the while, we’ve kept our focus on protecting the rights of our clients. We strongly believe that everyone needs proper representation when it comes to the law.
